I have been selling Rural Real Estate since 1987, specialising in larger economic units in particular – Dry Stock and dairy Farms from Taupo to Bombay but mainly focusing around 50kms from Hamilton.

I have seen huge changes in the marketing and presentation for farms and lifestyle blocks during this time and with Harcourts on going presence in the Rural Market place Harcourts have generally around 40% Market Share.

In a very competitive market I have been reasonably successful and was overall Top Salesperson for Harcourts for 3 months in 2009. I have affected some excellent sales for Vendors with farm sales up to 6.2 million.

The Hamilton based Harcourts Rural Lifestyle team have a large presence in the Waikato market and together we effect some great sales for vendors and as a consequence have a lot of repeat business from satisfied clients
.
In the last 5 years I have also been successful in selling lifestyle properties in the greater Waikato District. These properties ranged from $400,000 to $1.5 million.

One thing I’ve learned over the years selling real estate only works smoothly when willing seller meets willing buyer.

I have retained my passion and enthusiasm for the industry. In my early days a Vendor said to me “always work for the seller as they are the people who pay your commission”. A word of advice I’ve never forgotten. I’ve been married to Jill for 41 years and have 2 adult sons, along with 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson.

My interests include living in Te Pahu on our 20 acres, breeding a few thoroughbreds, fishing, travelling and good food.
